The Abell Room

Thank you for considering The Woman’s Industrial Exchange for your event. We hope to assist you in making your event a great success and a memorable one in this historical building.

The heart of The Exchange’s mission is our gift shop, where we sell handmade items on behalf of our consignors. Arrangements can be made to have the gift shop opened prior to, during or after your event.

The Exchange has several renting options available, what ever your event may be. Rental rate is $250 for a 4 hour event. Please see the contract for more info on what is permitted for a rental.

The Abell Room

This space is above the Exchange shop and features five large bright windows, a high ceiling, wood floors, two non-working fireplaces, and plenty of seating and table space (if needed). It can seat up to 45 people and can hold up to 60 people standing. Rental includes a banquet table that will seat 14, a seating area with sofas and chairs, 1 microwave oven, 1 small refrigerator, 1 sink with 1 faucet, 1 bathroom, and 1 coat closet.

Colorful scarves, shirts and kitchen textiles are waiting for you at the Woman's Industrial Shop! Come see all of the new knitwear, baby clothing, necklaces and potholders our talented artisan consignors have created. They're one-of-a-kind-items you won't see anywhere else. We also offer Free Gift Wrapping! The shop's hours are Mon.-Fri. 11a-5p and Sat. 11a-4p.

The Restaurant is BACK!

The new Woman's Industrial Kitchen is open! It restores the flavor and feeling of the original restaurant. They offer the very best of home inspired comfort food. Diners will sit seeped in the history of famous and average women who have triumphed in the home, work and communities.
