Class Proposal

Interested in teaching a craft, art, skill based, entrepreneur, yoga, or, well, any other kind of class? We've got the space and are looking for instructors! The Exchange is interested in filling our space and calendar with all sorts of things to do and learn. You tell us what you'd like to teach and how. Fill out a proposal and our shop manager will get back to you.

Title *
The title should clearly identify the topic of the class (e.g. "Knitting Class", "How to Hem Your Pants", "Collage Workshop", etc.)

A Short Description of the Class *
To be used in the Exchange’s mailing list, website, facebook, pamphlets, and other methods of
promotion. It should include the topic, how you will teach the class, and what the participants should expect to leave with (a handmade item, knowledge, an improved skill, etc.)




A Short Bio About You, the Instructor*
To be used in the Exchange’s mailing list, website, facebook, pamphlets, and other methods of
promotion. It should describe any experience, expertise, education, and/or background in the subject you intend to teach.

Please choose at least 2 possible dates for the class. The times need to fall within the store hours and be on Saturdays. Dates should be for a month in advance, minimum. Consult the events page to determine space availability.

The Exchange will split the proceeds of the class 50/50 with the instructor. The material fee will be advertised as such as in NOT included in the 50/50 split (meaning it will be paid directly to the instructor). Instructors are responsible for buying materials. Please plan the following accordingly.
