About The Exchange
The heart of The Exchange's mission is our gift shop, where we sell handmade items on behalf of our consignors. Consignors receive the majority of the purchase price for their items.
The mission of The Woman's Industrial Exchange is to actively support women's economic advancement and well being. The Exchange serves disadvantaged individuals by providing the opportunity for assistance through selling, refining and marketing their handcrafted items.
The Exchange owns the building at 333 North Charles Street in Baltimore. We support our mission partially through renting the seven fully renovated apartments on our upper floors and two restaurant spaces: Sofi's Crepes and The Dogwood Cafe.
The Exchange offers programs, community events, and, of course, wonderful handmade items to the general public. Check out our events page, and consider signing up for one of our newsletters.
