The Woman’s Industrial Exchange remains dedicated to providing local craft artists with the opportunity of selling, refining and marketing their handcrafted items in order to supplement their income.

Since 1880, The Woman’s Industrial Exchange has provided opportunities for local craft artists to refine, market, and sell their handmade goods to supplement their income.

The heart of The Exchange’s mission is our gift shop, where we sell handmade items on behalf of our consignors. Consignors receive the majority of the purchase price for their items.

The Exchange owns the building at 333 North Charles Street in Baltimore. We support our mission partially through renting the seven fully renovated apartments on our upper floors, and also our lunch counter space, Sofi’s Crepes. We are also renting the large restaurant space for private events such as birthday parties, bridal showers, and baby showers. Call 410-685-4388 for more information.
